Your visit. What to expect?
Atlas Imaging is a dedicated dental referral centre. Your dentist refers you to us for a CBCT scan on the Planmeca CBCT Viso G3, and we take it from there.

Your referral
Once your referral has been made via your Clinician you will be contacted by one of our friendly staff members.

Your appointment
We will book you a convenient appointment slot which will usually take up to 20 minutes.

Before your scan
You will be asked to remove any metallic artefacts, this includes metal dentures, piercing including any jewellery from around your head and neck region.

During your scan
You will either be seated or standing for your X-ray or scan. The X-ray arm will rotate around your head, you will be asked to keep still.

Which scanner do you use?
Every Atlas Imaging scan is performed on the Planmeca CBCT Viso G3 as standard – a full-body CBCT unit offering an exceptionally wide field of view, ultra-low-dose imaging protocols, and sub-millimetre resolution.
